Feathering issues
When I create a new image the paste two other images on it as layers then use the selection tool around the area that overlaps and then try to feather and it delete, it's as if I didn't do anything....

Make sure the active layer is the one you are looking at.The selection must overlap the part you want to feather. I think I would try using the rectangle selection tool with a 10 or so feather making...

I've tried to get the eyes to show up but can't and tried to link the layers but can't. It must seem like I'm such a noob but on my old comp, I never these issues.
